Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Safe Transportation: Drive 16-passenger vans and large school buses according to designated schedules, ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off of Members at designated locations.
Ensuring Safety: Maintain order and discipline among youth passengers during transit.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct safety and operational inspections of assigned vehicles, service vehicles with gas, and ensure tires are properly inflated.
Cleanliness Maintenance: Keep vehicles clean and tidy to ensure safe operating conditions.
Documentation: Complete mileage and other reports, including passenger counts, accurately and timely.
Training and Development: Attend safety, first aid, and other required trainings and meetings.
Flexibility: Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience working with youth or children is a plus.
Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older to meet driving requirements.
Physical Requirements: Able to sit upright for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds sporadically, and engage in physical activities like bending, kneeling, reaching, and stretching throughout the work shift.
